One day, I decided to take a walk.
As my feet moved, my eyes looked.
As my feet moved, my heart opened.
As my feet moved, my mind expanded.
Who am I? Where am I? I asked the world.
I searched, I wandered, I participated.
Who am I? Where am I? I asked myself.
l stood still, I explored, I listened.
Who am I? Where am I? I asked this thing most people call God.
I stopped, I prayed, I waited.
A book I read this year goes, “Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue… And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now.”
Who am I? Where am I?
Right now… I am here, trying to love the questions.
Right now… I am here, living the questions…
I am here, still on that walk.
